The consumer film market in South Africa requested in-store posters to promote Kodak consumer films and boost brand awareness. The target audience was youthful and vibrant, and there was a clear need to appeal to a younger demographic and inspire them to capture moments on film.

The objective was to design eye-catching posters that would resonate with the target audience, stand out in stores, and align with the campaign’s goal of driving interest in film photography. I developed several poster designs that pushed beyond our usual brand guidelines. With an emphasis on color and texture, I created visually striking concepts that felt fresh and exciting, catering to the youthful energy of the market. This approach was encouraged, allowing me to experiment with more unconventional designs. The posters were well-received in the South African market, successfully capturing the attention of the younger audience and driving engagement with Kodak’s consumer films. The creative approach helped to refresh the brand’s image and align it with the target demographic.
